Participation in the ‘Linkage Fest’
A four-day training on ‘Leadership’ for community leaders was held at St Joseph’s School, Kaying, West Siang Dt, Arunachal Pradesh, by FAsCE India
from Nov 13-17, 2014. 71 persons from across three Siang districts (East, West and Upper) of Arunachal Pradesh participated in the program.
Fr (Dr) George Panthanmackel, MSFS, the Provincial of Northeast India Province, highlighted the need for sincere and committed leaders in the society
today, while inaugurating the program. “There is great need for enthusiastic leaders with passion for social service more than ever today,” he said.
He exhorted them to be seekers of correct knowledge to be effective and powerful agents of secular, moral and just ideals.
A team of experts in leadership animated the participants on different themes intended at enabling them to be transformational leaders in the 21st century.
The team consisted of Fr (Dr) Athnas Kerketta MSFS, Fr Belo Francis MSFS, Mr Alex Bakla, Sr Kirti Khalkho SMI and Sr Saverina Lalera SCC.
